Target / Age: Class I to Class X
- •Applicant must be domiciled in West Bengal.
- •Study in a school or institution recognized by an educational Board, Council or University of the State or Central Government.
- •Secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
- •Annual family income not exceeding ₹2,00,000.
- •Study in an educational institution within West Bengal.
Post-Matric Scholarship
Target / Age: Class XI to Postgraduate / Ph.D.
- •Applicant must be domiciled in West Bengal.
- •Study in an institution recognized by an educational Board, Council or University of the State or Central Government.
- •Secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
- •Annual family income not exceeding ₹2,00,000.
- •Study in an educational institution within West Bengal.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
Target / Age: Technical or Professional Courses
- •Applicant must be domiciled in West Bengal.
- •Secured admission to a technical or professional course.
- •Secured at least 50% marks in the last Higher Secondary or Graduation examination.
- •Annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000.
- •Study in an educational institution within West Bengal.
Eligibility Requirements
Additional Eligibility Conditions:
- Must belong to a recognized minority community in West Bengal.
- Must study in an educational institution within West Bengal recognized by an educational Board, Council, or University of the State or Central Government.
- Pre-Matric & Post-Matric: Minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade in previous final exam; annual family income ≤ ₹2,00,000.
- Merit-cum-Means: Secured admission to technical/professional course; minimum 50% marks in last HS/Graduation exam; annual family income ≤ ₹2,50,000.
