Khadya Sathi is a Government of West Bengal food-security initiative implemented through the Food & Supplies Department and the state’s public distribution system. Officially launched on 27 January 2016, it is designed to help eligible beneficiaries access essential foodgrains through ration-card based entitlements.
Khadya Sathi is a food-security and ration distribution initiative, not a cash-handout scheme. Foodgrain entitlement depends on your ration-card category under applicable Central and State Government food-security rules.
