Standard Eligibility Requirements
- Woman between 25 and 60 years of age
- Woman residing in West Bengal
- Must have an Aadhaar-linked individual bank account in her own name
- Must meet applicable scheme conditions and non-exclusion criteria
Not Eligible:
- Women receiving regular government employment salary or permanent pension.
- Women who are active Income Tax payers.
- Women outside the eligible age window (below 25 or above 60 years).

What Happened to Lakshmir Bhandar?
Replacement & Beneficiary Migration from June 2026
Annapurna Yojana replaced the previous Lakshmir Bhandar monthly-assistance framework from June 2026. Existing eligible Lakshmir Bhandar beneficiaries were migrated to Annapurna Yojana subject to the conditions specified in the Government notification.
Government notification states that existing beneficiaries are migrated subject to verification rules, excluding deceased, shifted, or deleted electors from electoral roll checks.
Continued assistance is provided in specified cases involving appeals before the SIR Tribunal or applications under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

Existing Beneficiaries Migration
Eligible active beneficiaries previously under Lakshmir Bhandar were migrated to Annapurna Yojana under government notification without needing duplicate re-enrolment.

New Application Submission at Duare Sarkar / Local Camp
New eligible women can apply during designated Duare Sarkar camps or through local administrative offices with required documents.

Local administrative authorities verify age, residency, and Aadhaar-linked bank details.

Upon approval, ₹3,000 monthly financial assistance is disbursed directly into the beneficiary’s bank account.
