3. Step-by-Step Application Process

Check Village & Habitation Coverage

Check whether your village/gram panchayat is included in an approved Jal Swapno / JJM piped water project on maps.wbphed.gov.in or at the local Gram Panchayat office.

Field Survey & Household Listing

PHED implementing agencies and Village Water & Sanitation Committees (VWSC) conduct household surveys to map tap points.

Pipeline Network & Source Construction

Laying of distribution pipelines, construction of overhead reservoirs (OHR), pumping stations, and water treatment units.

Household Tap Connection Installation
